Emergency Protocols
- Legal obligations around first aid provision in Switzerland
- Medical emergencies: a protocol to follow
- Evaluation of the situation and calling for emergency assistance
- Personal safety and security
Basic Life Support
- Recognising cardiac arrest and understanding common causes
- Giving Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to babies, children, and adults with practise using realistic manikins
- Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

- Putting an unconscious baby, child, or adult who is breathing into the ‘Recovery Position’
- Heart attack and stroke: risk factors, prevention, symptoms, and signs and what to do
