Over 40 schools across Switzerland trust us to support the health of their staff and students
Focussing on the mental and physical health of young people and their teachers is at the heart of our schools’ programmes. Over 40 schools across Switzerland trust us to keep their staff and students happy, healthy, and safe through first aid training, relationships and sex education and mental health workshops.
First Aid saves lives and is a valuable life skill for all ages. Our training equips students with the ability to manage important medical emergency situations and includes the certified First Aid course for the Swiss Driver’s Licence and appropriate training for the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award. Training is age-appropriate and follows the UK National Curriculum First Aid Guidelines.
Our First Aid for Schools training is aimed at all members of staff who have contact with students. Each participant will learn how to manage important First Aid situations that may arise during the school day.
Resilience and mental health trainings to support staff members themselves, as well as equipping them to support their students
Addressing mental health issues in young people has never been more important. Globally, one in ten experience a mental health problem and suicide is the leading cause of death in 5- to 19-year-olds.
Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) is lifelong learning about the emotional, social, and physical aspects of growing up, relationships, sex, sexuality, and sexual health. We offer age appropriate RSE to young people in international schools across Switzerland. Midwife Mags Sheldon oversees and delivers our content, supported by Dr Michelle Wright.
“We had a basic first aid course delivered to all staff by Mags. She was extremely knowledgeable about all the latest procedures and taught us well. Best of all she was entertaining - this was not just a 'bog standard' First Aid course it was really fun.”
Tim Jefferis
“Emotionally tough topics were presented in a way that made participants feel safe to share some of their personal stories of mental health struggles which gave the course depth and emphasized its relevance in a special way.”
Monika Liechti
“I participated in a First Aid Course organised by Zug Rugby Club for parents. The course was given by the wonderful Amanda. She made us all feel very at ease and explained everything so clearly. I felt very well equipped with my first aid knowledge and left the course feeling 100% confident of knowing how I could help if there was an accident.”
