Training your employees to respond in a medical emergency

HealthFirst will come to your offices to provide courses in First Aid, Basic Life Support and Automated
External Defibrillation (AED). Training can be delivered in native English and/or French and successful course participants receive certification valid for two years.

Interactive courses ensure that your company has trained first aiders who are confident to act in a medical emergency
both inside and outside the workplace.
These sessions can also form an alternative team-building event, training a group of colleagues in essential life skills,
whilst they work together to rapidly manage realistic medical emergency situations.

Our trainers are practising doctors, nurses or midwives which means their medical knowledge is always up-to-date and
they bring each course alive by drawing on real-life experience. Working with companies and international organisations
every day, they know how to engage your employees to make these courses fun and memorable

2-day First Aid Training

This hands-on course provides the same competencies as IVR/IAS First Aid training but does not
have their certification. Small group work and realistic first aid scenarios are used to practise newly
acquired skills. Knowledge is tested through a short multiple-choice exam at the

Swiss Resuscitation Council BLS-AED-SRC Generic Provider

This 4-hour training in Basic Life Support and Automated External Defibrillation is certified by the Swiss Resuscitation Council. It provides participants with knowledge and competencies to help adults or children in cardiac arrest and other medical emergency situations. Ideal for company First Aiders or anyone wanting to build and maintain life-saving skills.

Swiss Resuscitation Council BLS-AED-SRC Basic Provider

This 2-hour training course introduces Basic Life Support and is certified by the Swiss Resuscitation Council. It teaches how to recognise when someone needs emergency medical help, as well as the basic skills of cardiac massage, ventilation breaths and using a defibrillator in adults.

Saving Lives: CPR and Emergency First Aid

This interactive four-hour course carries a HealthFirst Certificate of Attendance and builds knowledge and skills in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation and life-threatening emergency situations. The opportunity for hands-on practise brings the training alive.

Accidents Happen: Essential First Aid Skills

This 4-hour training teaches important first aid skills to enable participants to react quickly in a variety of situations. It complements our Basic Life Support training, covering first aid for accidents that could happen in the workplace including broken bones, burns, and head or spinal injuries.
