Mags is a UK-qualified midwife, experienced in pre-natal education, deliveries, and post-natal care. She qualified in 1998 after studying Zoology at Glasgow University. Having worked in adult and baby intensive care units, she is a strong advocate for high standards of First Aid and resuscitation techniques.
Mags is a highly experienced teacher of Relationships and Sex education (RSE), teaching the programme in many international schools in Switzerland for the past 20 years. She is a member of the PSHE Association (UK) and the Sex Education Forum (UK), ensuring that she is always up to date with current thinking and best teaching practices. Mags is a qualified ensa Mental Health First Aid instructor and authorised by the SGS and Bundesamt für Strassen (ASTRA/OFROU) to teach the first aid element of the Swiss Driver’s Licence. She is currently studying to become a nutritional coach. In her spare time, Mags is a writer, producer and director of English speaking musicals in Switzerland.
